What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember something between one page and the next, such as that you are logged in. Browsers also let websites store data locally, which works in a similar way.

All of them are our own (set by uxpoll.com), none is used for advertising or analytics, and none is shared with anyone.

Data stored in your browser
These choices are stored only in your browser (local storage) and are never sent to us:
- theme: whether you chose light or dark mode.
- results-view: whether you prefer to see poll results as a map or as a table.
Third-party cookies
The site doesn’t load advertising, analytics, social media buttons or any other third-party service that sets cookies. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, you visit their websites for a moment, and they use their own cookies under their own policies.
Why we don’t ask for consent
The law only requires consent for cookies that aren’t needed for the service you ask for, such as advertising or analytics ones. All the cookies above are technical, or remember a choice you made yourself, so they don’t need it, and that’s why you won’t see a cookie banner here.
How to see and delete cookies
You can see, block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Here is how in the most common browsers:
If you block or delete them, the site will still work, but you’ll be logged out, your language and theme choices will be forgotten, and voting may not work properly.
